Hot Rolled Cold Stretched - Ribbed - B500B

Bar Dia. (mm) Weight / Coil (kg)
8 2500
10 2500
12 2500 5000
14 2500 5000
16 2500 5000

The final diameter and ribbed surface in sizes 8mm to 16mm are achieved by applying further stretching work to the coil. The stretching process reduces the cross section area by 3-4%. The stretch is applied by putting the coil through a series of bending rolls, after which the product is layer wound into coils.

In summary, this coil has high ductility.

Cold Rolled  - Ribbed - B500B

Bar Dia. (mm) Weight / Coil (kg)

10 2500 5000
12 2500 5000
16 2500 5000

The final diameter and ribbed surface in sizes 6mm to 16mm are achieved by passing the material through a series of rollers in a cold forging process. The material is forced into the gap between the rollers and so is compressed and results in similarly high ductile to that of the hot rolled reinforcement steel. The cold rolling process results in a product with  predictable and regular cross section, improving   efficiencies when using automated cutting and  bending machines. In summary, this coil has high ductility, and flexibility.

Cold Rolled  - Ribbed - B500A

Bar Dia. (mm) Weight / Coil (kg)
6 2500
8 2500 5000
10 2500 5000
12 2500 5000

The final diameter and ribbed surface in sizes 12mm or less is achieved by passing the rod through a smaller series of rollers in a cold forging process. The nature of this manufacturing process results in a less ductile material but has the advantage of    predictable and consistent material cross section to improve  efficiencies when using with automated cutting and bending machines. In summary, this coil offers good flexibility.
