 | Van Merksteijn In December 2006 Euro Accessories were appointed
agents for Van Mersteijn cold drawn coils in the UK.
Van Merksteijn BV was the first company in The
Netherlands to specialize in producing standard
mesh reinforcement and lattice girders. In 1940,
The company started as a construction company
in Hengelo, Overijssel. The family company
started on August 2, 1964, in Raalte. On May 1, 1988,
the first mesh was produced in the new factory in
Almelo.
The present product portfolio consists of high-end
fences, mesh reinforcement, coils, lattice girders,
and first class powder coating. In addition to the
headquarters in Almelo, there are subsidiaries in
Roermond, The Netherlands, and Overpelt &
Dendermonde, Belgium.
Currently Van Merksteijn BV employs about 500
people spread out over several subsidiaries.
The Company is still owned and run by the Van
Merksteijn family.
